Attraction Marketing - The Basics


As we jump into the basics of Attraction Marketing, it's important to understand what Attraction Marketing really is.

We all know what traditional marketing is.

Traditional marketing revolves around hunting down prospects and trying to convince them to buy something.

You talk to everyone within three feet of you, bug friends and family, try to convince by pushing harder and harder until you (once in a while) make the sale.

Yuck.

This doesn't work for one very overlooked but obvious truth:

PEOPLE DON'T LIKE TO BE SOLD.

Heck, everyone wants to make their own decisions about what they buy and not have someone else trying to ram a product down their throat.

People don't like to be sold ... BUT they DO like to BUY!

AND they like to buy from people they know, like, and trust.

Enter Attraction Marketing.

Attraction Marketing focuses on giving value and building relationships with people BEFORE you try and sell them something.

It let's people get to know you and who you are, then they get to like you, and then ... well ... once that happens, a sale is the natural next step.

By you presenting yourself first, then people see you as a friend, a leader, a person who is truly interested in helping them.

And they respond by wanting to do business with you.

It's a win-win situation.
