When choosing a market, you want to find something you like as well as something that's popular.

Here are a few ideas that may help you get started:

Things you love to do or may be good at:

1.  Sports - golf, skiing, surfing, snowboarding, biking, running, rollerblading, parachuting

2.  Artistic - painting, scrap booking, cooking, music, writing, gardening, crafts, fashion, antiques

3.  People Oriented - counseling, teaching, advising, mentoring, inspirational, personal development

4.  Technological - computers, equipment, software

5.  Career Oriented - lawyer, doctor, teacher, real estate agent, stock broker, dentist

Markets that are always popular:

1.  Health  (staying healthy, looking good. nutrition, wellness)

2.  Wealth (financial, making money)

3.  Relationships

Especially if these markets are coupled with a transition (i.e. getting married, having a baby, losing a job, moving to a new home, going to college, getting an illness, etc. - this makes it an especially "hot" market as people want to find a solution to their problem NOW and are more likely to buy whatever will help them solve that problem.

Markets that are good even during a down economy:

1.  Making Money

2.  Saving Money 

3.  Debt Reduction 

4.  Credit Repair

5.  Appliance Repair

6.  Computer Repair

7.  Do-It-Yourself

8.  Pets

There are many, many more areas that could be very lucrative markets.
